How does Velocity affect the performance?

In PolySWAM Note-On Velocity plays a crucial role in shaping the polyphonic performance.

This section is crucial for balancing the "feel" of your performance, specifically regarding the interaction between Velocity and Expression during the note attack phase, by acting on:

VELOCITY (global remapping): fine tuning of the velocity response curve
DYNAMIC BEHAVIOR (per-Scene):

SWAM Classic: Velocity controls the attack of each note. After the attack all notes are controlled equally by the Expression.
HYBRID: Velocity controls the attack of each note. After the attack, sustained notes are controlled partially by the Expression and partially by the initial velocity.
VELOCITY: Velocity controls the attack of each note, and the initial Expression. Expression then continuously rescales the initial velocity value.
