How to install and authorize products through the Software Center
Audio Modeling’s new Software Center application makes it simple for a user to manage all of their Audio Modeling products and keep them up to date. Software Center displays the user’s currently owned products and automatically handles downloading, installation, and authorization of new products, updates, or upgrades. Best of all, Software Center is incredibly simple to use.
Software Center works with your Audio Modeling account to provide its services. Audio Modeling’s Customer Portal gives you access to your Audio Modeling account, where you can purchase and register products and product updates (as well as view your purchase history), change your profile info and account settings, and more.
Installing Software Center
The first step is to download the Software Center application from: https://audiomodeling.com/support/install-and-update/
When the download is complete, double-click the installer and the program will be installed on your computer.
Once it is installed follow these steps:
Double-click the application to run it.

Login to your Audio Modeling account. Once you are logged in, the list of your products will be displayed.
Figure 2 - The product list shows all your purchased products and relevant information about them, plus enables installation and updating.
Select the plugin formats you want installed and set the path where you want standalone applications installed. This is a global preference that is applied to all products
Figure 3 - the Plugins, Formats & Path allows you to choose which plugin formats get installed and set the path where standalone versions will get installed.
The plugin formats and path settings can always be changed, if desired, by clicking the “three dots” icon in the upper right corner to invoke the Main Menu wizard and clicking the Plugins, Formats, & Path button to bring up that panel.
Figure 4 - The Main Menu wizard provides access to a host of global functions.
Registering a Purchased Product
Bring up the Main Menu and click the Add New License button.
Figure 5 - The Add New License button will take you to your Audio Modeling Customer Portal account.
A new window with the Audio Modeling Customer Portal login screen will open in your browser.

If you don’t already have an Audio Modeling account, click the Register here if you are a new Customer button to create one.
Paste the license key or redeem code for your purchased code into the field near top of the screen.
Install and Authorize Purchased Applications
To install applications you have purchased, simply click the Install button next to a product or the Install All button above the product list and follow the directions as they guide you through checking for updates and managing your product installations. Software Center lets you manage multiple product installations and authorizations with a single click, but it will put up a dialog for each instrument requiring you to give permission for the installer to make changes to your system.
The applications themselves are authorized automatically as part of the installation process.

Checking for updates
You can check for updates for your Audio Modeling products at any time. Simply start Software Manager and login to your account. Available updates will be indicated next to each product’s name in the list of your products.
Figure 8 - When updates are available to any of your purchased products, they will be clearly indicated, and can be installed individually or all at once.
Individual products can be updated by clicking on the Update button for the product, or all available updates can be installed by clicking the Install All button.
Figure 9 - Software Center shows you progress bars while it is updating. This is particularly useful if you have one or more bundles of instruments.
Uninstalling or Reinstalling an Application
When necessary, an application easily can be uninstalled and, if desired, later reinstalled. To uninstall, bring up the Product menu for the application you want to uninstall and choose the Uninstall command. Reinstalling is the same: bring up the Product menu and choose the Reinstall command.

Logging Out of Software Center
To log out of Software Center:
Click the “three dots” icon in the upper right corner to access the Main Menu wizard.
Click the General tab.
Click the Logout button at the bottom of the General panel.

Accessing Your Audio Modeling Account
If you wish to access your Audio Modeling account directly, you can easily go there from Software Center. The user information shown in Software Center can only be edited in your account.
Click the “three dots” icon in the upper right corner to access the Main Menu wizard.
Click the General tab.
Click the Audio Modeling Account link in the user information section of the General panel. The login page for the Audio Modeling Customer Portal will be opened in your browser, as shown in Figure 6 above.
Other Main Menu Features
You can change the device name that is displayed in Software Center by clicking in the field below the user account information and edit the name as designed.
In the Settings section of the General panel is a slide switch that enables the OpenGL framework on your computer or device. If your computer or device is capable of running OpenGL, enabling it takes some of the graphics burden off of your Audio Modeling applications, leaving them more processing power for MIDI and audio functions.
Another slide switch in the Settings section of the General panel excludes installation of free products when the Install All option is chosen.
If you have a product you need to register, clicking the Add New License button in the Main Menu wizard will open the New Product Registration of the Audio Modeling Customer Portal in your browser. If you are not already logged into your account, then the login page is what will appear first.
The Accessibility button in the Main Menu contains the Enable Outline Focus slider, which enables a red outline around the element of the Software Center user interface that is currently selected as the focus of user action. This is useful with screen reader applications.
The About button in the Main Menu opens a panel containing the Software Center version and credits.
Product Menu Features
The Product Menu is the menu dropped down by clicking on the “three dots” icon to the right of any instrument in the Your Products list. The Uninstall and Reinstall commands have already been discussed above.
Figure 12 - The Product pop-up menu appears when you click the "three dots" icon on a product listing.
The Open command opens the corresponding application.
The Manuals command causes the PDF manual for the product group to download.
The Release notes command opens the release notes for the most recent version of the product group.
The Support command opens the Support page for the product group.
