Newer iPads are not equipped with a built-in headphones connector (mini-jack). If you need to route the Audio output from SWAM or Camelot Apps to a PA system, or to headphones, you need an external USB Audio device.
Note: the Audio device must be Class Compliant.
We don't recommend to connect the USB Audio Device to the iPad directly to the USB-C port of the iPad, because it can drain its battery quickly. Instead, connect the Audio device through a Camera Connection Kit (we strongly recommend Apple products with a charging port to power your iPad during the performance).
If you need more devices connected at the same time, you need also a powered USB hub and USB cables from your devices to the USB hub.
If your instruments do not have USB midi ports you can use a 5din-to-USB MIDI interface that is working on iPadOS (i.e. USB MIDI Class Compliant).
